2020 Irish Open Underway

With the first two squads completed on Sunday evening, today saw squads 3 taking place with 33 players and squad 4 with 36.

Throughout the next 4 days, approximately 200 competitors from 19 countries will compete for the 2020 title of Irish Open champion. We will be publishing scores and interim qualification standings following each squad so check back for updates.

Irish Open 2019 Under Way

Sunday January 13th saw play commence in the 2019 Irish Open Tenpin Bowling Championships.  This years event is in association with STORM, 900GLOBAL and 3G Shoes.

The first squad (Squad1X) took place in the morning and was new to the event with 44 ITBA Senior players competing both as part of the ITBA Senior Touring League and the Irish Open.

Squad01 took place on Sunday evening with 18 players competing over the six game format.  Alan Bride took this squad and narrowly missed out out on a perfect game by 1 pin.

Play continues with Squads 02 and 03 on Wednesday.

2019 Irish Open

The  2019 Irish Open in association with Storm, 3G, 900 Global is now accepting entries either in writing or via online entry available vie the links above.  The event will take place at it’s usual venue in Leisureplex Stillorgan from January 13th to 20th 2019.  For further details please visit the link abovem any queries may be raised via email to stillorgan@leisureplex.ie.

2018 Irish Open Comes to an End

Congratulations to all 215 bowlers from 20 nations who took part in the 2018 Irish Open.  The tournament finished on Sunday evening after 3,139 games of which 9 were perfect 300’s.

The winners were:

Seniors – (1) Tom Byrne, (2) Selwyn Morgan, (3) Nico Thienpondt & (4) Robert Lind
