Safe Journey!

On Behalf of the Irish Tenpin Bowling Association Executive Committee, Team Ireland Sub-committee, Leisureplex Blanchardstown and all involved, we would like to wish all players and supporters a safe journey home.

Final Days Play

After two days of competition, day three of the tournament saw the Mens Team of five, Womens Team of five and Mixed doubles taking place over four games.

In the Mens Team event England (Lee Cocker, Mark Patrick, Garry Sykes, Sam Rose & Pete Stevenson) took first place with a score of 4222.  Second were the Irish Team (Eoghain Lebioda, Jason Byrnes, Barry Foley, Joseph Clancy & Alan Bride) with 4056.  Third Northern Ireland (Billy Nimick, Paul McCauley, Sam Hull, Alan Smith & Grant Dugan) scoring 3883 and fourth was Scotland (Kenny Jamieson, Martin Williamson, Michael Maccoll, Daniel Masters & James Guthrie) with 3693.

The Womens Team event was won by England (Sophie Thompson, Lorna Scott, Natasja Ailes, Amy Teal & Laura Marcham) scoring 3806.  Second place went to Wales (Louise Roberts, Ebony Owen, Kelly Jones, Anne-Maree Williams & Lynne Walker) with a score of 3560.  Third were Ireland (Carol Catchpole, Aoife Hall, Martina Shortt, Elaine Lalor & Kellie McDonnell) scoreing 3493 while Northern Ireland (Caroline Horan, Isobel Smith, Donna Horton, Lauren Dugan & Lyn Watson) came fourth with 3168.

In the Mixed Doubles England (Sarah Hood, Glen Bailey) took first place with a score of 1783.  Second were Wales (Alison Moore, Glenn Robson) scoring 1512.  In third place was Ireland (Sarah Kebbell, Alan McDonnell) with 1475.  Fourth place went to Scotland (Gary Redpath, Margaret Rae) with a score of 1268.
