Today saw the first ALSAA Junior Singles tournament take place with 21 bowlers across the various age/gender categories.

The Junior Scratch Doubles 2018/19 will take place on Sunday December 2nd 2018 with closing date of entry Tuesday November 27th. The event will take place in ALSAA Bowl, Dublin Airport with Check-in of 10:00 to 10:20 and play commencing 10:30. Teams may be mixed in both the Under 16’s and 19’s categries. Play commenced in the 2018 Junior Irish Open at 3pm on Friday November 2nd with an additional Overflow squad comprising 18 players from various catergories. Following this at 6pm, 48 players competed in Squad 1 bringing the first days play to an end.
Saturday sees play coommence at 8:30 with squads 2 and continues throughout the day.

Day one of the 2018 Junior Triple Crown started with a bang for the Irish team. Jack Bruton took first place in the Under 16 Boys Singles beating Daniel Harding of England by a narrow margin of 6 pins.
